Reading

Like most of us Brad was not an active reader. However in 2015 this changed when he read Hal Elrod’s book The Miracle Morning (Review here). This book kindled a passion that has driven Brad to accelerate the amount of books he reads in a year. In 2015 Brad finished reading 50 books. In 2016 Brad focused on adding speed reading techniques to his repertoire and increased his yearly reading rate to 75+ books in a year. In 5 years Brad has been able to read over 300+ books and has gained vast knowledge that he can apply to his set of core skills in both his day job and personal vocations.

Some of Brad’s favourite books are:

  1. Deep Work by Cal Newport (Brad’s Review)
  2. Back of a Napkin by Dan Roam (Brad’s Review)
  3. Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi
  4. Relentless by Tim Grover
  5. Influence by Robert Caildini (Brad’s Review)
