Review: Hard Choices

Hard Choices by Hillary Rodham Clinton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another one of those books that I consumed via Audiobook which unfortunately means I did not take. Suffice to say it is an interesting story that centres on Hillary Clinton’s key role as Secretary of State during the 2008 -2012 Obama Administration. Each chapter delves deeply into various crisis and issues that challenges the State Department and America and provides Clinton’s point of view on why things were done and her opinion on the various successes and failures.

It was clearly a book written to help propel her into a better position for the 2016 US election, yet I wanted to read to try and get a better idea of who she is, what she stands for and what the US could have looked like with a Hillary Clinton presidency. Given what has happened I’m not sure we will ever know….
